Bring Your Dog To The West Rocks
The West Rocks Hotel is a pet friendly establishment and a number of rooms are designated "pet friendly". As you would expect, all rooms, regardless of this, are cleaned thoroughly.
We Love Hard House customers, subject to dog friendly room availability may bring their dog with them. There is a charge of £15 per dog which is for the duration of the weekend.
There are four designated pet friendly rooms (two twin rooms, two double rooms) which are available on a first come first served basis. Bookings are accepted on the basis that you take full responsibility and liability for your pets welfare during your stay. You are required to bring your dogs bedding, feeding bowls and food. For the comfort of other guests we do not allow dogs in the dining areas, bar or in the entertainment areas. Whilst at the hotel dogs must be on a lead when not in your allocated room and are not allowed into other bedrooms.
We do not take a damage deposit but the cost of repair for any damage caused by a pet will be invoiced to you.
How To Add Your Dog to "A Weekend Away With..." Booking
The number of rooms available to accommodate dogs is limited. Bookings for pets have to be pre-approved by the hotel management and a decision is based on a number of factors, If you would like to bring your dog please CLICK HERE to complete a request form that we will submit on your behalf.
For events not on sale yet...
With all our weekend events, demand is high so we can't reserve you a room prior to an event being released for sale as to do so would be unfair to others. If you are successful in reserving a room when an event is released for sale, then CONTACT US straight away with your moreonthedoor.com e-ticket number requesting a pet friendly room to be allocated to you. Your customer confirmation will confirm your request.
Note - there is a maximum of two dogs per booking.
Eastbourne and Your Dog
Eastbourne, like most town and cities, as local by-laws regarding dogs. During the summer months there are some public spaces where dogs are prohibited. Our events are generally during the winter months so the local restriction where dogs are prohibited on the beach during May to September, for example, does not apply. As with most councils there is a requirement for dog owners to clear up after their pets in pubic areas. There are dedicated bins for this purpose including bins on the sea front. CLICK HERE for a guide to dedicated bin locations.

As you would expect, guide-dogs for the visually impaired are always welcome at West Rocks.
